On 20 May 2019, the WMU Board of Governors adopted an alumni engagement strategy intended to strengthen the two-way relationship between the University and its global network of graduates from 171 countries. Graduates from nearly 40 countries have committed to starting alumni associations in their home countries. See below for the countries with established associations.
