Paola Migliorini, Deputy Head of Unit at the European Commission, Directorate General Environment, has been working on circular economy policies since 2012. She has coordinated the policy development and the implementation of the two Circular Economy Action Plan adopted by the European Commission in 2015 and 2020. She currently focus on circular economy for textiles and plastics and on the EU Ecolabel. She has great interest in best practices on sustainable consumption and production from innovative businesses and public authorities. She has both the experience of the European institutions, which includes funding opportunities for environmental protection, and of the private sector, namely the multinational health industry. Her motto: ''explain, listen and make it happen''.
