Dr. Lars Rosenberg Overby is a Danish maritime and litigation lawyer with over 30 years of experience at leading law firms in Denmark. He serves as the president of the Danish Maritime Law Association and is a titular member of the Comité Maritime International. Additionally, he is a member of the Polar Shipping International Working Group. Dr. Overby has published textbooks on maritime law and passenger rights, as well as several articles addressing commercial law issues. He holds a Ph.D. from the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law in Oslo and has experience working with P&I Clubs. Furthermore, he has served as an Assistant Professor of maritime law at the University of Copenhagen.
