MoU with Copenhagen Business School

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the World Maritime University (WMU) and Copenhagen Business School (CBS) on 21 March 2023. The MoU was signed by Dr. Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry, President of WMU and Professor Martin Jes Iversen, Vice Dean of International Education at CBS.

The MoU creates a partnership between CBS and WMU in recognition of their mutual interests in the field of maritime education and research. The agreement supports collaborative research in the fields of maritime education and training, shipping, port management and the protection of the marine environment including maritime decarbonization. Further, the agreement provides for possible field study visits to CBS for WMU students, and academic information exchange on relevant maritime issues as appropriate.

Located in Copenhagen, Denmark, CBS is one of the largest business schools in Europe offering studies in economics, languages, communication, politics and more, all with a business and industry focus.
