Baltic Maritime Science Park's Oil Spill Forum Consultancy

WMU has been contracted by the Swedish Coast Guard to develop the Baltic Maritime Science Park's (BMSP) Oil Spill Forum. The aim of the project is to move the BMSP Oil Spill Forum content from its current platform to a Wordpress platform which is a more user-friendly format. This will be achieved by collecting reports and outputs from all Baltic Sea countries regarding oil spill projects so the information will be easily accessible to all interested parties. User friendliness will continually be improved via feedback from users of the site. The work will be conducted from now through 2016 with a total budget of
SEK 790 000. The end product will be tied to the ongoing initiative in Sweden to develop a national database of information concerning Hazardous and Noxious Substances (HNS).
