Posidonia Side Event on Ocean Technologies and the Future of the Ocean

Posidonia is one of the world’s leading maritime industry gatherings and will take place from 1–5 June 2026 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, Greece, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss developments shaping the future of shipping, maritime trade, and ocean sustainability.

In addition to the WMU Exhibition Stand (Hall 1, stand 1.328), the World Maritime University (WMU)–Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute (GOI) will host a side event on “Ocean Technologies and the Future of the Ocean: Integrating Policy, Science, and Industry Perspectives”, on Tuesday 2 June 2026.

The WMU-GOI session will bring together experts from across sectors to explore the intersection of innovation, governance, and ocean sustainability.
