Captain Reto Weber, MSc holds the position of lecturer at Chalmers University of Technology and is examiner for Masters and Mates in ship handling, navigation in confined waters and bridge team management. He gained his education in Switzerland, England and Sweden and is holder of a Master Mariner’s license (unlimited) and an MSc degree in Maritime Affairs. Reto Weber has sailed in all deck ranks from deckhand to captain on bulk carriers and Ro-Ro vessels and before joining Chalmers in 2010, he was a maritime pilot on the Swedish West coast. Captain Weber is also responsible for the Full Mission Bridge Simulator at Chalmers and during the last years, he has mainly been involved as project and simulations manager in several large EU projects.
