He was part of the MCA’s Large Yacht Sub-Group working with the Professional Yachting Association on the implementation of MLC in yachting. He is an ILO certified trainer of MLC inspectors and regularly runs MLC training sessions on yachts and for yacht industry companies, and is a frequent speaker at yacht seminars and conferences on crew employment and management, MLC, 2006 and social security.
