WMU Moot Court Competition

The Moot Court Competition took place recently at the World Maritime University as part of the curricular activities of the Maritime Law & Policy (MLP) specialization, Law of the Sea and Maritime Security Course 2013. The second edition of this competition focused on the maritime boundary delimitation of two fictitious States. The class was divided up into three different teams and during this activity, the Applicants (Team 1) and the Respondents (Team 2) had to write and verbally deliver their memorials,  The Arbitral Tribunal (Team 3), also composed of WMU students, was responsible for analyzing the facts, data and arguments submitted by each team. After deliberation, they rendered a decision that was read in front of the class and invited guests.
