Dedicated IAMU Section in WMU Journal

The WMU Journal in Maritime Affairs (JoMA) now incorporates a section dedicated to the activities of the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU).The main focus of the IAMU section is on Maritime Education and Training in line with the expertise of its member universities. Dr. Barrie Lewarn of the Australian Maritime College has been appointed as the IAMU section editor. The first issue of the journal with the dedicated IAMU section is now available and carries an editorial by Mr. Glenn Blackwood, Chair, IAMU. Dr. Takeshi Nakazawa, Secretary of IAMU, visited WMU on 6 May 2014 and was presented with the first issue of the journal that incorporates the IAMU section.
