Traditionally, one of the most effective means for the wider transmission of new ideas and knowledge in higher education has been through scholarly publication. This is the principal mechanism whereby universities assemble, store and disseminate the findings of their research. It is also important as a mechanism by which WMU its global responsibilities under our Charter to provide an international focus for networking and collaboration.
