October 22, 2012 - 2:37pm

24 September WMU President Björn Kjerfve inaugurated the Malmö M.Sc. Class of 2013 in CP Srivastiva Hall. With 106 students representing 38 countries, this year’s class is the largest in WMU history.  The class also marks the second largest participation of female students with 29 enrolled. The students’ 5-day orientation week began 17 September and included invaluable information about living in Sweden as well as a bus tour of Malmö, survival Swedish, and a getting-to-know-you picnic event. Of the incoming class, 27 students participated in the English Study Skills Program that began 2 July and ended 21 September.  WMU extends a warm welcome to our new students and we wish them the best in their time at WMU and beyond.
