Roundtable Event at Posidonia 2016 - Challenges and Trends Ahead in the Maritime Industry
WMU and the University of Piraeus will host a rountable event on 10 June at Posidonia entitled Challenges and Trends Ahead in the Maritime Industry. It is more than evident that understanding how the industry will evolve in response to economic, political, demographic, environment and technological trends, has become highly topical and timely in our days. The risks our industry is facing and the “way ahead” are so complex and so interrelated that all the contributions are beneficial. One way to resolve this, is through the collaboration of the Industry and Academia. We hope that this approach can further assist efforts to analyze and critically appraise the current issues and trends facing the industry, thus benefitting thesector and the global economy.
